Thank you for visiting the Old Penarthians RFC website. The site is designed to be easy to browse using the navigation menu on the left. We trust that you will find all the information you need on “The Old Pens”.

The club currently runs two senior sides (firsts and seconds) who play competitive league and cup rugby and a vets (over 35's) side who play an even more competitive type of rugby. We are always keen to attract new players at any level so if you want to play with the 1st team in the Welsh National League Division 5 South East, with the 2nds in the Cardiff & District 2nd Divsion or if you prefer a less faster more sociable run out with the vets team, come along and you will be assured of a warm welcome. Rugby training is held at our home ground, Cwrt-y-vil fields, St Marks road in Penarth every Tuesday and Thursday night starting at 7pm, there is also Circuit training on Mondays from 6pm for those wanting to improve their overall fitness. Saturday games kick off at 2:30pm with players meeting in the Clubhouse at 12:30pm.

Alongside the rugby section, the Club has a very healthy social section with live entertainment being provided in the Clubhouse once a month on a Saturday Night. Throughout the year a number of special entertainment events are also held and details of these can be found on the website. The Clubhouse also plays host to a number of skittles, squash, pool, darts and football teams.
