Old Penarthians 2nd XV 0 v Clwb Rygbi Caerdydd 2nd XV 24 (Friendly)

The 2nd XV lost their friendly encounter with the Clwb Rygbi 2nd XV 0-24. There was some sterling defensive work by Ian Buckley’s men, but lacking some key personnel they were unable to create too many problems for their opponents.

Good performances were attributed to Skipper Buckley, Paul Kemp and Richard Ball in the forwards, whilst Steve Cross, Rhys Thomas, Sean Leach and Dave Owen also performed well.
